Validatoor (“Validatoor”, the “Service”, “We”, or “Us”) is an email validation service offered through the URL www.Validatoor.com (or the “Website”), or any of its related apps, APIs, or partners. Validatoor is owned and operated by Pipestry, LLC, a California limited liability corporation.
The “Customer” means “you”, as a customer of the Service, or a representative of an entity that is a customer of the Service.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of all or a substantial portion of our assets, or other similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified by email and/or a prominent notice display on our Website of any such transaction and the choices you may have regarding your information.

- Personal Information
In the course of using the Services, we ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you and administer your account (“Personally Identifiable Information”). This may include, but is not limited to, your name, phone number, credit card or other billing information, email address and postal address.
- Public Information
Validatoor also collects information that is publicly accessible (“Publicly Identifiable Information”). Publicly Identifiable Information (e.g. information available to search engines), may include social network profiles not set to ‘private’ or information on a social networking page visible to users who are not logged in. If you do not want to be searched or indexed by search engines or services like Validatoor, we recommend that you set appropriate privacy controls within social networks and third-party applications such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. - List and Email Information
When you upload an email list or link an Salesforce account on our Website or any of our affiliated Services, we have access to the data on your list, such as email addresses and contact names.
- Marketing Optimization Application
The Validatoor Marketing Optimization Application allows Customers to dynamically populate their contacts with Marketing Optimization Scores. To enable this application, we will download the contact information for each user’s contacts and leads, and use this information to determine various optimization scores for each contact. We will give users the ability to review these matches and choose the most likely correct match. Validatoor will then store match information for use within the Service.
- Information from your Use of the Service
We may get information about how and when you use the Services. This information may include your IP address, time, date, browser used, actions taken by you within the application, and the web page you were previously visiting before traveling to our Website.
- Web Beacons
Validatoor uses software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. Clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. The information gathered by clear gifs is tied our customers’ Personally Identifiable Information.

Validatoor does not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personally Identifiable Information without their consent, please contact us at support [at] Validatoor.com. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our files.
Use and Disclosure of Your Personal Information
- Validatoor will never sell or share the Personal Identifiable Information you provide us with to other organizations for their marketing or promotional uses without your express consent. Validatoor will only ever use and disclose your Personal Information for the following purposes:
- To bill and collect money owed to us. This includes sending you emails, invoices, receipts, alerting you to expired credit cards and requesting new billing information. We use third parties for secure credit card transaction processing, and we send billing information to those third parties to process your orders and credit card payments.
- To provide customer support.
To support and improve the Services we offer. This includes features and content.
- To communicate with you about your account - for informational, and not promotional, reasons. This includes responses to any potential requests you may make.

- To provide information to representatives and advisors, such as attorneys and accountants, to help us comply with legal, accounting, or security requirements.
- To prosecute and defend a court, arbitration, or similar proceeding.
If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive such communications, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any of the communications, or contact us at support [at] Validatoor.com to remove your information from our database.
Public Information and Third Parties
We display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our site in addition to other endorsements. With your consent, we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at support [at] Validatoor.com. If you provide us with comments or feedback we may collect your name and email address, as well as any other content included in the email to send you a reply and improve our Service.
Validatoor may copy, modify, create derivative works, display, disclose, distribute, and use these testimonials and any feedback provided by Customers regarding the APIs or the Services without any obligation to compensation.
- Social Media Widgets
Our Website includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook or LinkedIn ‘Share’ buttons. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them.
- Links to Other Sites
Validatoor and its Services contain links to other websites. If you choose to click on these third party links, you will be directed to that third party’s website. The fact that we link to a website is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of affiliation, nor is it an endorsement of a third party’s privacy or information security policies or practices. We do not exercise control over third party websites. These other websites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you. Other websites and services follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the personal information you submit to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of the other websites you visit.
- Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information
We may share aggregated information that includes non-identifying information, Publicly Identifiable Information and information derived from the use of third-party tracking technologies with third parties for analysis and profiling. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personally Identifiable Information.
- Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate the Services, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform services related to administration of the Services (including, without limitation, bill and credit card payment processing, chat support, maintenance, hosting and database management services, Site and Services support, web analytics and administration). These third parties may have access to your Personally Identifiable Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this Policy regarding notification (section 4) and the Terms of Service Agreements with our Customers.
Email List Information
- Your Email Lists
When you upload an email list, whether manually or via one of our Partner services, Validatoor has access to information in your list, including but not limited to email addresses, IP addresses, and/or first and last names, for the purpose of delivering validation results related to this data.
Your subscriber lists are stored on secure Validatoor servers. We have not, nor will we ever, under any circumstances, contact people on your lists, market to people on your lists, or sell, steal, rent, or share your lists with any other party, except if required by law. Only authorized employees have access to view your lists.
- Safeguarding Your Information
We use encryption, access controls, and data security policies to protect your passwords, credit card numbers and email lists. When you enter sensitive information (such as login credentials or credit card information) we encrypt the transmission of that information using Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). Your Credit Card Data is protected using controls compliant with Payment Card Industry (or PCI) security standards.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect sensitive information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. With this in mind, you must keep access to your account secure and undisclosed. Validatoor does not store plaintext passwords, and cannot see yours. We cannot send a forgotten password, but we will reset it and notify you of the change to your account.
- Notice of Security Breach
Should an unauthorized intrusion to our system occur which affects you or people on your Email Lists, Validatoor will notify you as soon as reasonably possible, consistent with the legitimate needs of law enforcement or with any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity, security, and confidentiality of the Service and your data. The Customer will be notified with documentation of such an event and the actions we took in response.
- Safe Harbor Certification
Validatoor complies with the U.S.-E.U. and U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor frameworks as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from European Union member countries and Switzerland. Validatoor certifies its adherence to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement. Validatoor takes pride in delivering information that is accurate to the best of our knowledge. The Customer is responsible for keeping both their personal data and email list data accurate and up to date. Any changes to the Customer’s Personally Identifiable Information should be promptly updated by the Customer through their account profile on the Website or by notifying Validatoor as stated in section 5. Changes to the Customer’s email list data should be promptly updated by the Customer through their own means.
Validatoor will retain and use Personal Identifiable Information for as long as necessary to comply with our financial and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Validatoor may also keep some non-personally identifiable data indefinitely, relating to when and where emails were sent, which bounced, which resulted in a complaint, and similar information, for reasons explained in this policy.
Validatoor cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of Validatoor or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop any activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical, inappropriate or legally actionable.
